About the Seven Original Bottle Carriers
We will choose seven individuals from the Nalgene Facebook page to serve as the original bottle carriers. Nalgene will choose these seven individuals from all story submissions uploaded to the Nalgene Facebook page and will then choose seven people based on their inspiring stories and upcoming travel plans.

How to Enter
First, you need to receive a bottle. Printed on each bottle are directions outlining how bottle carriers can send their stories and photos via text to 339-221-3776 or email to nalgene@cerconebrown.com. After review, the stories and photos will then be directly uploaded onto our message board (link to message board) as they come in from across the country.

How to win
In exchange for everyone's help, we are giving away a chance to win a $5,000 travel voucher for anyone who comes in contact with the bottle and shares their photos and travel story with us. All you need to do is help encourage the exchange of the bottles and story submissions. Each person that submits his or her story and/or photo will be eligible to win a $5,000 travel voucher. We'll be selecting a winner for the grand prize from only the people who shared their stories with the bottle that has been in contact with the most people. The faster you pass the bottle along to another person, the better your chance of winning the $5,000.

How will we choose a winner?
The contest ends, December 31st 2009. The winner will be chosen from the bottle number that accrues the most stories/photos online at www.refillamerica.org. From there, the Nalgene team will review all submissions from that final bottle and will choose the story/photo based on the following criteria; relevance to the American Experience topic, most inspirational story/photo, and most interesting and unique photo.
