Bottle Carrier: Nick
Current Location:  Red River Gorge in Slade, KY

Story:  My Nalgene is an everyday thing with me.   As much as I love being outside, more often I find myself living the American Life; working, driving, living. Equally functional at the office, the cliff, and the car, Nalgene eliminates my dependency on bottled water and goes wherever I do.

Story: While touring covered bridges near Cleveland  recently I was handed  bottle #2. Farmers in the area would have liked to have had a clean, sturdy bottle to  transport that precious commodity – WATER! Isn't it true that America's great wealth has been fueled by the innovation of her sons and daughters?

Story: The biggest attraction of the Riverside Inn is its history. This Pennsylvania hostelry, in continuous operation since 1885, offered patrons mineral water therapy until 1934.  Perhaps the first health spa of that era?  But wouldn't it have been grand   if I could have filled bottle #2 with therapeutic spring water?

Story: The pic's are of myself and my little dog Cha-chi as we are walking in the beautiful Chagin Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks in Willoughby , Ohio.

This is one of our favorite activities and the Nalgene water bottle keeps us hydrated on our hikes through the many trails. In case you're wondering ...I don't actually let Cha-chi drink out of the bottle. I give him a little in my hand

Date: October 1, 2009

Story: Here's a picture of me & one of my dogs, Shamus standing on our boat
while docked at Foxhaven Marina on Catawba Island, Ohio.

I thought this would be a perfect setting as it's a wonderful escape &
personally, I've had many a life experience aboard her.

We have traveled all over the Great Lakes over the last 15 years on RICKYDIDIT, our 37 foot Marinette.
We have met lots of great people and have lots of fun.  I can't imagine any other life!
Thanks for letting me participate - I've already passed this bottle on!

Story: My Nalgene is more than just a water bottle. It's a constant in my life. More than a mountain top companion, it's my lab partner, and my gym buddy.  My Nalgene goes everywhere I do; from the ordinary to the extraordinary my bottle is there every step of the way!

Here I am at the New Jersey Rock Gym getting a few climbs in!

Story: This is me in the backyard of my grandparents old cottage located in Marblehead, Ohio. Last weekend I stopped by on my way to catch a ferry to Kelley's Island.

Visiting brought back childhood memories of fishing, hunting, swimming, boating, waterskiing, but my favorite; the aromas of my grandma's cooking!

Story: My name is Leslie and I am Nalgene's original Bottle Carrier for their #2 Bottle (LIFE).I reside in Euclid, Ohio along the beautiful shores of Lake Erie.

I'm very excited to have been chosen to participate in Nalgene's "Refill America Project". I can't wait to take my bottle along with me on my next adventure and then pass it along.

Until then…stay tuned !!!
