Story: At the brink of the Upper Falls on Yellowstone River, I caught a glimpse of the canyon that artist Thomas Moran immortalized for congress in his artwork. Excited by its beauty and power, I felt as I believe Moran must have, full of pride for his land and his country.

Story: This picture was kindly taken by a security guard in
Chicago's Millennium park, in front of the Cloud's Gate sculpture,
more commonly known as "the bean". Since its installment, it has
become a symbol for my city, and something that all Chicagoans take
justifiable pride in.
